Advance is the official publication of the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel (ICFG). Our goal is to connect God, life and the Foursquare family together—both in the United States and overseas—by publishing articles that inform, inspire, encourage and challenge believers in their daily Christian walk.
Launched by ICFG Founder Aimee Semple McPherson, our flagship periodical has been a respected Christian publication for generations, since its inception in 1917 under the label Bridal Call. The magazine has been renamed several times through the years—becoming Foursquare Crusader, Foursquare Magazine and, in 1964, Foursquare World Advance—but the vision to serve Foursquare churches, members and friends of ICFG has remained the same and kept current with the times.
